Before the picture was taken these two kids were sitting outside on their porch waiting for the daily ice cream truck to come. They usually sit out and wait for the truck at about two o’ clock every day. Usually the other kids are sitting with them, but today it’s just these two. The boy has had a crush on the girl for a long while. It’s like the little kid crush. This girl knows about the crush he has on her, so she leans in for a kiss. The little boy got very shy and tried to move away from the little girl in shock. After the picture was taken she got really embarrassed. Luckily, the ice cream truck pulled up as soon as this all happened. They got their ice cream and went their separate ways. The next day it was all okay and everything was back to normal they were the most best friends and to this day still are.
second assignment-
The colors in this picture are very pretty together. They all run together in a way. The colors are effective because the water and the land is a calmer color, then the helicopter is bright with color. The helicopter is like, “BAM”! When you first glance at this picture it’s the first thing you see. The water(blue) and land (green) are used in the piece to be more calmer colors. It’s made so the helicopter pops. While the helicopter is pink and many other colors, so it stands out. If the picture was black and white it would take away the attraction to the helicopter because then it would all be the same color.
My favorite season is fall. I love fall because everything is changing, plus it is cooler. This photograph represents my season because it shows that the trees are changing. The elements and principles in this photograph are effective because when you first look at the picture you instantly see leaves. Plus the trees and leaves make the road stand out. I love the different color leaves make in the fall. Yes, they are represented in the photograph that’s why I chose this picture. I think the photographer choose this moment to capture because it’s so calm and peaceful. I think the photographer was thinking about how relaxing this area is.
I think this picture is creepy because it’s not what you think of as a normal day look. I think the elements and principles contribute to the creepiness of the photograph are the fact that it is all dark in the background then his face is very white. I also think it is creepy the way his lips were formed. He also has one lazy eye while the other one is wide open. I think next in the photo he will either do another creepy look and scream. I would not hang this picture in my house because changes are I would get freaked out. I’m not into creepy guys hanging on my wall, expect the one of my dad. :)
The movement in this picture is showing every girl getting ready to jump into the pool. The way this picture look is that it's just one girl and it's showing a play by play of how the girl is going to jump into the pool. This photograph shows convey movement because it makes the girls look like they are falling. Movement is an important principle in the picture because if you didn't have movement it would make the picture look awkward. A goal that I have is trying to get the shapes to pop when I am taking them.
I choose this landscape because I though it was very pretty. I have never been there before, but I would enjoy going there. I love the flowers in this pictures because they stand out. The rocks are brownish and the grass is greenish, so the orange flowers just pop out of the picture. I think this picture look very well together because it just all flows together. I wouldn’t change anything about this picture. I would just sit and relax if I was there right now. I wouldn’t put myself in the picture because a person wouldn’t really going.
This photograph makes me feel hurt. The father is yelling at the daughter while she just has to sit and listen. This children doesn’t look very old in the picture, so it’s depressing knowing that she most likely didn’t do anything. I think this photograph will make other people realize that child abuse is not the way. Even though the father is not touching the girl, he is hurting her emotionally. It doesn’t conjure any memories from my life, but I have heard many stories about abuse and my older brother was abused. I can’t even imagine going through any kind of abuse. The colors in this picture make it look very scary because the father is in the background looking big. She is closing her eyes and plugging her ears wishing it would all go away I’m sure.\
